I have attempted to install this on Oracle 64-bit Linux (RHEL 4 AS) but it does not seem to be supported. Is there any chance that it will be in the near future?

I have it running on several 64bit unices, and opr was written on Gentoo Linux. What exactly do you mean by 'does not seem to be supported'? Did you actually try a install?

some problems with autotools not recognizing some modern (since 2009 :) linux distributions have been fixed in opr-1.1.12.
