#94 Cannot start of find the Java JRE (-4)

Cannot start of find the Java JRE (-4). The JRE may not have been isnstalled or the registry may be incorrect.

I recently downloaded Open Workbench. It seemed to work fine on the day that I downloaded it; but on all of the days following, I received the above error message when trying to start the application.

I have re-booted, and tried again, with the same results.

how does the software get the path to the JRE?

The same problem. My Path envvar contains C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_03\bin, also I have JAVA_HOME envvar pointed to the C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_03. Changing JAVA_HOME to C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03 does not solve the problem.

Dear nobody,

This is all your fault, since nobody is supporting this relic, and you are nobody!
Waste of registration and download time. This program will not work with post-2005 versions of JRE.
