When you install Open Workbench local admin rights on the PC are necessary. This is for us, and for most company's, not an option. All our pc's give normal user rights to the user. Only admins have admin rights. So, If you want more company's to start using Open Workbench, please redesign it so that admins can install it on a pc (under their admin account, not the user account), and the user can use it after installation without admin rights.

I wanted do use Open workbench with my schoolclass instead of MS Project. But of course my pupils don't have admin rights. So i am very sorry, but Open workbench is not suitable for education institutions.

Is indeed a major drawback that it only works with admin rights. Then I wanted to use the Run As option when starting it, but that is not available unfortunately.

After installing through admin login, open workbench is not working in domain user login. The error is unable to connect. Please guide me
