I started a completely fresh build tree, reconfigured, etc... Oddly enough, openvrml is still trying to link with /usr/lib/libGLU.so event though /usr/local/lib is ahead of /usr/lib in my LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Now my compile is crashing at: g++ -I/usr/X11R6/include -pthread -g -O2 -o .libs/lookat lookat.o ViewerGlut.o /usr/lib/libglut.so -L/usr/X11R6/lib ../../src/openvrml-gl/OpenVRML/GL/.libs/libopenvrml-gl.so /usr/lib/libGLU.so /usr/lib/libGL.so -lSM -lICE -lXmu -lXext -lXi -lX11 ../../src/openvrml/OpenVRML/.libs/libopenvrml.so /usr/lib/libjpeg.so -lpng -lm -lz -L/usr/local/lib -lfontconfig /usr/lib/libfreetype.so -L/usr/local/lib/mozilla-1.2.1 -lmozjs -lplds4 -lplc4 -lnspr4 -lpthread -ldl -Wl,--rpath -Wl,/usr/local/lib ../../src/openvrml-gl/OpenVRML/GL/.libs/libopenvrml-gl.so: undefined reference to `gluTessBeginPolygon' ../../src/openvrml-gl/OpenVRML/GL/.libs/libopenvrml-gl.so: undefined reference to `gluTessEndContour' ../../src/openvrml-gl/OpenVRML/GL/.libs/libopenvrml-gl.so: undefined reference to `gluTessBeginContour' ../../src/openvrml-gl/OpenVRML/GL/.libs/libopenvrml-gl.so: undefined reference to `gluTessEndPolygon' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[3]: *** [lookat] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/jdhunter/src/openvrml-0.13.0/src/lookat' Any idea why openvrml is going for the /usr/lib GLU lib, and how I might fix that?
