[openvrml-develop] Q: Child-Checking .. ?

Hello,

couldn't guess a better name fpr what i'm looking for ;). I have the
following problem which i was not able to solve on my own:

What i want to do is to check if a given Object has certain nodes or
childs before processing.

Example .wrl-File:

#VRML V2.0 utf8
children [
	Shape {
	
		appearance DEF A0Appearance Appearance {
			material Material {
				transparency 0
				ambientIntensity 2
				diffuseColor 1 1 1 }
				texture ImageTexture {
					url "./textures/solar.jpg"
				}
		}
	
		geometry Box {}
	}
]

This leads to a call of ::insertBox. Now i want to check, if the given
Shape has a texture defined BEFORE ::insertBox is called.

Could someone help me out with a quick hint?
