The tarball does have these files. Yes; there has been some substantial reorganization of things on the trunk that is not yet reflected in the Visual Studio project files. I think you should be able to remove the references to those files and compile without JavaScript (or Java) support. Getting JavaScript and Java support working will take a little more work.
