  Actually, I thought the same !  (Good, I'm not completly dumb and I still can read the man !).  But the experience actually show that result.  The link goes down until I send a SIGHUP.  I dont know why, I just know it is so ...

  Actually, I'm not sure that the link goes donw because I stop using it.  It is just that I never saw the problem while there was traffic.  Usually, it stops working the next morning or so, but sometimes much faster (less than an hour).

  Well, again, if anyone has a clue ...
