Thank you very much, I have to re-read the manual after big version changes! :) While playing with the <connection> params I figured out that 'fragment' is not allowed in a <connection> block and auto-proxy also. But when I try to use auto-proxy outside I get: "Options error: --http-proxy or --auto-proxy MUST be used in TCP Client mode (i.e. --proto tcp-client) Fragment can be pushed when connecting to a udp server, but how to use auto-proxy while dealing with <connection> blocks. This I try to configure: <connection> remote server 1194 udp </connection> <connection> remote server 443 tcp </connection> <connection> remote server 443 tcp auto-proxy http-proxy-retry </connection> Many Thanks, Eike Am 03.02.2011 09:39, schrieb Jan Just Keijser: > Eike Lohmann wrote: >> yes! is this already possible? >> >> > this has been possible since OpenVPN 2.1 was released. > The 'auto-proxy' feature works only on Windows, and even there it does not > work as well as it should, but the basics are all there. > Alternatively you can add a third and fourth connection block > > <connection> > remote host > proto tcp > port 1194 > sock-proxy <host> <port> > </connection> > <connection> > remote host > proto tcp > port 1194 > http-proxy <host> <port> > </connection> > > HTH, > > JJK > >> Am 02.02.2011 17:32, schrieb Jan Just Keijser: >> >>> Hi Eike, >>> >>> Eike Lohmann wrote: >>> >>>> Hi, >>>> >>>> I can connect to different servers on different ports with the remote and rport >>>> param, but I have to select udp or tcp mode and this decission apply to all >>>> remote parameters. >>>> >>>> What I want to do is, build a config where the client try to connect a udp >>>> target and if this fails it try to connect a tcp target. >>>> ..... and to make the dream perfekt.... if this fails it reads the local >>>> proxyconfiguration (e.g. this WPAD.localdomain thing) and use the proxy to >>>> connect.
