The problem we face is the following.

 

The client connects over the default 10.8.0.0/24 vpn network. A static route
is pushed by the server to the office internal network 10.10.1.0/24 network.
The connection works fine. We can ping and tracert to all nodes in the
office network behind the vpn server. Internet connectivity on the clients
is fine and the DNS is being pushed successfully off the 10.10.1 network
through the vpn.

 

However we cannot browse or map network drives. We can map a network drive
on the server with the openvpn server software but that is it.

 

All nodes in the test config are wintel and there are no firewalls in place
for this test.
