In the 2018 tax year program, values for “Your occupation” and “Spouse’s occupation” were supported in the f1040_meta.dat file. I implemented these fields using the MarkupPDF functionality and all was well with the world.
In 2019 tax year, these fields were moved to page 2 of form 1040 and were commented out in f1040_meta.dat. In my version of f1040_meta.dat, I moved them to page 2 and changed the x and y values as follows.
YourOccupat 510 590
SpouseOccupat 510 637
This is no big deal but it would be convenient if these values could be put in the official version of f1040_meta,dat. Then I wouldn’t need to edit my copy in the future.
