Danny, I have been using OpenSTA 1.4.1 for 6 months now on 3 different revenue engagements. It has lowered the cost of doing performance characterization projects to the point of generating new business for my company with smaller clients that could not justify the $50K to $100K for hardware and emulation software. I have used it under XP, XP Professional, and Win 2K. I'd be happy to provide more information off line. The downside is lack of support, so-so documentation, and in general it is more labor intensive to model scripts compared to other HTTP(/S) emulators. -Bernie Velivis Performax, Inc 2 Colburn Lane Hollis NH 03049 (603) 860 7900 Performax provides scripting, benchmarking, bottleneck analysis, code optimization, capacity modeling, and tuning services for a variety of emulation tools, operating systems, application servers, and databases. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Danny Faught" <fa...@te...> To: <ope...@li...> Sent: Friday, March 21, 2003 12:07 PM Subject: [OpenSTA-users] reliability problems in OpenSTA - looking for your feedback > I just wrote a review of OpenSTA for my Open Testware Reviews service > (http://tejasconsulting.com/open-testware/).
