We are very pleased to announce the initial release of the OpenSTA 1.0 stable series. This is version 1.0.0 This release signifies that no more major changes will be attempted to this code path and we are reasonably sure of it's stability. We encourage all users to upgrade to this release and report any bugs found. Bug fixes and some minor enhancements will appear as update releases in the coming weeks. Once we are sure we have fixed any initial problems in the OpenSTA 1.0 series, a 1.1 series code branch will be created to contain new developments, any major changes and enhancements. This 1.1 series will be a developer series and should be seen as unstable, the 1.0 series will continue to have bugs fixed in it, as they are found, to further increase its stability. This release is available both as a Microsoft Windows Installable from: http://opensta.org/download.html and as the full source package from: http://opensta.sourceforge.net/download.html Any problems with the product toolset should, as usual, be reported at: http://sourceforge.net/bugs/?group_id=10857 At the time of this release I would like to encourage all users to visit: http://opensta.com/ where it possible to find out about purchasing commercial services and products based around the OpenSTA 1.0 series. Doing this will help to fund OpenSTA's further development. Thank you, /dan -- Daniel Sutcliffe, OpenSTA Project Leader <Da...@Op...> --=-*-=-- http://opensta.org/ --=-*-=-- "Ambivalent? Well, yes and no." Opinions expressed in this mail are *all* mine, they do not reflect the opinions of my employer. |
