Ijan,

I too just got started with OpenSTA and have gotten it to work just fine.
If you read the Getting started help text, that should tell you what you
need to know.  But the basic steps are:

1)  make sure the OpenSTA Name server is running
2)  Start the OpenSTA Commander
3)  From the options menu select the browser you are using - IE6 works well.
4)  Select File->New Script->http.  This will start the Script Modeler.
From here if you press the 'Record' button your browser should start and
then you can access your web site.  Your session is recorded.  At the end of
your session stop recording.
5)  You can then create a new test group and assign the script you recorded
to it.

I want to use openSTA to do a stress test to my website. I. never use any
test tool before. I'm trying to read the documentation in the web site and
the help file but i couldn't understand how to use this tool. I only can
install this tool but still I don't know how to use. Can anybody help how
can i do the testing using openSTA. I hope somebody can help me to explain
in simple can easy to understand way. I'm very appreciate anybody that can
help me.

I built a asp application in windows 2000 advance server using Sybase
Adaptive Server Enterprise as the database.
