Hi All

From the reviews that I have read, this seems to be a
great tool, but there is only one big problem: I need a
tool that can run from a Linux environment.

It does not seem as if this is possible currently. Has
this port been attempted? Are there any plans in the
pipeline to do this port?

    Some of the code that OpenSTA was based upon at one time ran
    a few different *nix - and VMS!

    The current set of active developers for OpenSTA are very
    interested in making OpenSTA back into a cross platform
    testing tool - specifically of interest are Linux and MacOSX
    - but making the codebase generally more protable is the
    ultimate goal.

    The intention is that once the 1.5 series has been forked we
    will begin work on gradually making more and more of the
    toolset available for many platforms - starting at the
    architecture and command line tools and working out.
