The OpenSTA Dataname entry in the OpenSTA Getting
Started Guide Glossary says "The first character must
be alphabetic." However, when I use File->New
Script->HTTP in Commander, it lets me enter a name that
starts with a hyphen or underscore.

The provided fix has been merged into the CVS HEAD. It will
become generally available in release 1.4.2.

The fix for this problem is combined with the fix for 699741
and does not only change the behaviour in the Repository
tree view but also in the Modelers "Save As" and "Create
Variable" dialogs. It should now only be possible to enter a
    valid OpenSTA dataname.

    OpenSTA: 1.4.2.32
    Modeler: 1.4.2.3
    Commander: 1.4.2.2
