Enterprise Portal Kit 1.4 Released

The Portal Kit is a collection of essential frameworks and tools necessary to build professional, JSR-168 compliant open source portal applications. This new development platform will save much time with initial deployment by using custom and pre-configured build systems. The best-of-breed open source frameworks in the Portal Kit, although in development now, will very soon be ready for production. The core services existing in all frameworks in the Kit are personalization, user access, role based access, administration and layout. The goal of the Portal Kit is extend these core services with functional portlet web applications for everyday usage and to automate customizations and deployment into the build systems.
