I used to have an issue where OpenSong would mash certain letters in the lyrics together when I tried to print.

OLD https://www.dropbox.com/s/cc9zlmqqpxyn93p/Help%20Me%20Live%20in%20Step%20-%20OLD.pdf?dl=0
In this PDF, you can see a few examples of this - "alone" in the last line of the verse, "step" and "am" in the chorus, "clanging cymbal" in the bridge now looks like "danging cymbal".

I installed a fresh version of OpenSong on a new computer and now have an issue where there are extra spaces.
NEW https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/116w72gr4btdvltw4otn2/Help-Me-Live-in-Step-NEW.pdf?rlkey=344lnqiehiyo3ri4f9399forj&dl=0
And for some reason it doesn't fit onto the page as it did before, so now you can see that my columns are off. I checked the margins and they are the same as when I used to print on my old computer (it was always 1").

Please let me know if you need any other information. I would appreciate any help with this!
I love OpenSong and have used it for many years and it's been such a great asset to our worship team. Thank you for everything!

    Hi

Your font size appears to be larger in the new version. This is likely why the 2nd verse spills into the second column. (There is no auto-resizing to make lyrics fit, as there is for slide layout.)

Then, you likely have a column break before the 2nd chorus. That's why it is placed on page 2.

The difference in additional spacing rather than overlap may be due to the fons size change, It may also be due to some change caused by a different version of the font, or your new display driver, or your a new printer driver, or by having a different default printer driver, or by who knows what else. The framework we use for the page layout lacks precision for what we use it for / how we use it. We made changes regarding this that will hopefully improve this issue in the next version of OpenSong.

By the way, did you notice the file size difference of the two PDFs? Something else is different here also, beyond your settings and our page layout. Is the old PDF generated with the same version of OpenSong? Judging by the line below the title it is not. Do you know which version of OpenSong was used for the old one?
