Hi, I'm getting the same thing, I've downloaded to two computers it works with my macbook Pro running El Capitan 10.11.6 but the new church computer (Macbook air) running macOS sierra version10.12.1 is having the same issue you've descibed. Any help would also be appreciated.

    Thanks kindly,

Does OpenSong give an error message? If not, can you go to the Preferences and set the program to log into a file, then check that file for an error related to opening the song?

It Works, but OpenSong does not read the content of songs in subfolder inside songs folder.
