I have loads of songs created in a Windows version of OpenSong and want to move them to a Mac. cutting and pasting didn't seem to work as the Mac shows the Win songs as Unix executable format and Mac songs as Document format.
can I use the import utility to change them to Mac format, and if so how? I tried setting the format to TXT, but the song seems to be given the file name "Songsxml version=1.0 encoding=UTF-8"...
any help appreciated...
Thanks

Cutting and pasting should work just fine, you should not be trying to
open the songs from any editor in any case. Just put them in the right
folder for the OS you're on and run OpenSong.
