[Openslp-users] OpenSLP Questions

I am doing some testing on OpenSLP now and have following questions:


1)      Based on the RFC 2608, the user agent may conduct SrvRqst by sending a Unicast message to Directory Agent. I am assuming the API would be SLPFindSrvs API to do it. Where can I assign the DA IP/Hostname for Unicast message?

2)      Does slpd process has to be installed one very machine in order to make  Service Registration and Service Request? If not, how to specific the IP address for remote SA/DA to register service and service request?

3)      If the process calling the SLPReg terminated, does service registration will be cleared from the SA/DA?
