Hi Matthew,
  Thank you for taking the time to reply. I believe the 1.0.9a release 
predates SVN (it is *really* old), but the tarball is on the openslp site.

We got a little more info from our client. If they filter the slptool 
results so that it only returns information from our server (using 
OpenSLP) it works fine. So we now are trying to get them to figure out 
what server might be causing the problem, which is slow going.
