Hi Matthias, Fair enough. I will create a new branch for SIMPLE then. I will commit your classes there. I will let you know when it's ready. Thanks for donating your time to opensource! It is initiative like this that I want to see more often and make OpenSIPStack a truly community development effort. Good morning Joegen, I'm only planning to implement the client part for SIMPLE. I've only got time for this. For me its important that SUBSCRIBE and NOTIFIY are working because we want to use the p2p version of SIMPLE. But I think I will have enough time to implement PUBLISH too. Hi Matthias, Are you planning to implement both client and server component for SIMPLE or is your priority just the SoftPhoneInterface for now? I hope you are planning to do both. If by any chance you want to do both, the next step would be to add the capability to OpenSBC to accept PUBLISH messages. You can use SIMPLE aware soft client like XTEN. Once the server is ready, we can then replace the third party UA with an OpenSIPStack based implementation. I am currently re-implementing the Registrar from the ground up so this is the best time to add presence functionality to OpenSBC as well. It's ok if you are only interested in making a UA. Let me know which direction you want to take. Joegen Matthias Dreißig wrote: > Sorry I have no unit test code. Version of OpenSBC?. Did you compile it in the same server or you just copied the binary and corresponding DLLS? Hello Joegen, I have installed OpenSBC on windows 2003 server. I have configured it as per instructions in manual and tried to register Xten and OSS phone with it. I can see register messages reach OpenSBC but OpenSBC crashes just after it sends "Trying" to SIP client. I enabled debug level 5 but i do not see any cause of exception. I do not understand whats wrong. Regards, Manoj |

Hello Joegen, I wanted to wait for the result of your reviewing before I proceed with the parser. Now I've added also the ability to encode XML for the NOTIFY/PUBLISH body. Hi, I have patched OpalOSSConnection * $Log: OpalOSSConnection.cxx,v $ * Revision 1.36 2008/08/24 03:16:05 joegenbaclor * Patched OnReceivedSDPMediaDescription not to overwrite m_RemoteFormatList and to not * create sessions for address or port == 0 Can you verify that this patch works? Mathias, This is looking great! I can see that you have only implemented handling of incoming PIDF from NOTIFY. We will also need the ability to encode XML for PUBLISH when the UA initially announces it's presence status to the presence server. When you get this done, we can have the music start playing. Hi, SIP-phone Linksys/SPA2102-3.3.6 announce video capabilities but it don't have they. v=0 o=- 3748 3748 IN IP4 193.28.184.99 s=- c=IN IP4 193.28.184.13 t=0 0 m=audio 20224 RTP/AVP 18 101 a=rtpmap:18 G729a/8000 a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000 a=fmtp:101 0-15 a=ptime:20 a=sendrecv m=video 0 RTP/AVP 31 a=nortpproxy:yes Whether it is possible to "learn" OSS to perceive port "0" in string "m=video 0 RTP/AVP 31" as absence of video capabilities? |

Hi, Line "OnReceivedSDPMediaDescription( ..., ...Video, ...DefaultVideoSessionID) " deletes audio formats from the m_RemoteFormatList and leaves only video formats (if the called endpoint announces video in the "200 OK" response) //=================================================== // OpalOSSConnection.cxx //=================================================== BOOL OpalOSSConnection::OnIncomingSDPOffer( const SIPMessage & _sdp ) { OString sdp = _sdp.GetBody(); SDPSessionDescription* remoteSDP = new SDPSessionDescription( GetLocalAddress() ); SDPMediaDescription * mediaDescription; BOOL ok = FALSE; if ( remoteSDP->Decode( sdp ) ) { m_RemoteSDP = *remoteSDP; mediaDescription = m_RemoteSDP.GetMediaDescription( SDPMediaDescription::Audio ); if ( mediaDescription ) { ok = OnReceivedSDPMediaDescription( m_RemoteSDP, SDPMediaDescription::Audio, OpalMediaFormat::DefaultAudioSessionID ); m_RemoteFormatList += OpalRFC2833; } mediaDescription = m_RemoteSDP.GetMediaDescription( SDPMediaDescription::Video ); if ( mediaDescription ) ok = OnReceivedSDPMediaDescription( m_RemoteSDP, SDPMediaDescription::Video, OpalMediaFormat::DefaultVideoSessionID ) || ok; } delete remoteSDP; return ok; } |

Hi Everyone, I have recently uploaded an AJAX like IE UA Plugin which is scriptable via plain javascript. This is currently alpha code but has already been tested to make outbound calls. You can find it in ATLSIP/SIPBrowserObject folder. Only Visual Studio 2005 project is included for now. A test index.html file is also included to demonstrate how to control the plugin via javascript. Enjoy, Joegen |

Hi Everyone, Better late than never! We now have CDR logging in OpenSBC. We will be calling them CAT Logs as per subject. CAT Logs will be generated inside OpenSBC/CAT/static folder. CAT -> CSV export scripts are welcome contribution! Any takers? Joegen |

It's midnight in Manila but I don't feel like hitting the sack just yet. I decided to code something light to kill the time. Good news to the windows users, you can now invoke tail.exe found in Tools/Tail folder of OpenSBC to tail the current file when OpenSBC is running in debug console ( opensbc -D ). To tail the current b2bua log, just go the "File/Tail Log file" in the debug console menu. Joegen |

There are a lot of modules that demonstrates the use of the expat wrapper. One good example is OSSAppConfig::CreatePage() where you can find the code responsible for dynamically creating HTTP admin pages from oss-application.conf.xml. > Where I could start? > Create SIPSessionManager. > Process events in OpalOSSUserAgent to this SessionManager if method > is SUBSCRIBE or NOTIFY and event is presence. Before delving into the actual event package, I suggest that you come up with the PIDF parser classes first and submit them so it can be reviewed., just as a SIP Stack starts with the parser before delving into the complexity of state machines ;-) > What I should use from RFC3265 code and what i do not need?
