    i test a em8400 card
    when i send m2v file to /dev/sigma/video
    show picture serveral seconds then froze

    system message is

    SIGMA video 0: component output not supported by EM8400

    what's the meaning

    em84xx can't use this driver??

    how to support component output

      i know em8400 not support component output
      i use the svideo output, why the picture froze

        ok, i need more information:
        1. try 'insmod ./sigma-test.ko' and post outout of dmesg
        2. lspci -vv
        3. kernel version and may be some other distribution details
        4. if there is dmesg messages like 'kernel oops' during playing video, Post its here.
        5. Try another m2v file (mpeg2 video stream file) instead of used before
