get involved

Here is what you need to do to get involved in the OpenSAF project:

  • If you wish to get support on the usage of OpenSAF and ask questions, you should subscribe to the users mailing list. As a user, you may also wish to become a member of the project so that you can write tickets (see below).

  • If you wish to participate in the development of OpenSAF, you should subscribe to the devel mailing list. As a developer, you also need to be a member of the project so that you can write tickets (see below).

  • If you wish to write tickets, you need to become a member of the project. If you do not yet have a user account at SourceForge, you first have to register an account. Once you have an account, send a message with your SourceForge user-id to one of the project administrators, asking for membership.

  • If you wish to contribute code to the OpenSAF project, you first have to send a signed copy of the contribution agreement by postal mail to the OpenSAF foundation. Note that the address stated in the document is wrong; the correct address where you should send the signed document is:

    OpenSAF Foundation Administration
    3855 SW 153rd Drive
    Beaverton, Oregon 97006 USA
