No

Enabled the logging by uncommenting the tarce line in the logd.conf
Now tracing is enabled .

If i send the USR1 signal to the osaflogd process any number of times , the tracing is not being disabled .

Migrated from devel.opensaf.org #2280

    It's not USR1 that toggles tracing, it's USR2.

I have tried USER2 and its working Fine .
But the README in the OPENSAF Source CODE states that USR1 is used for this toggling purpose and USR2 for dumping the logd state ... It has to be updated accordingly ..
snippet from the opensaf read me file.

Log server traces are by default disabled. To enable/disable log server traces
in a running system, send signal USR1 to the osaflogd process. Every time the
    trace state is toggled.
