At the technology conference this past weekend, Open ResPos won 2nd place Open-Source Software Development! That is much more than we could have asked for, especially for such a new project! They also won 2nd place in Technology Problem Solving. Thanks to the whole Open ResPoS Team!

Two members of the Open ResPoS Team are in Chattanooga,Tennessee for a technology conference this weekend. And they are entering Open ResPoS in the Open-Source Software Development competition. Wish them luck! The whole team is hoping that Open ResPoS will win an award.

To make sure all the source files are syncing together correctly with GIT we will be releasing the source files about 20 hours earlier than initially anticipated. The initial binary for Linux will still be released at or as close to Midnight (UCT) March 14th.

Unfortunately we are running a little behind. Not to worry, the application and source will be released on time. But the documentation and support pages are behind. We hope to have these up as soon as possible though.

What had started out as a small project has become so much more. Many hours have been put into it, and this Thursday (March 14, 2013) we will be releasing verison 1.0 Beta, after only a few months of researching and coding. Hard work and dedication have made this entire project worth it. And we do not expect the project to turn out big--just yet, anyway. But we do hope to maintain and grow it over the next few months and years.... read more
