Thanks, Antoine! That did indeed fix it (though for Ubuntu/Debian users, = note that the package is libglib1.2-dev , as in "sudo apt-get install=20 libglib1.2-dev"). I'm now trying to make the package and getting this error: > MMX -DPENTIUM_OPT -I. -DBUILDDATE=3D"\"Sat Oct 21 05:33:26 PDT 2006\"" = -I../.. -I. -c audioencoder/lame3.70/quantize-pvt.c -o audioencoder/lame3= =2E70/quantize-pvt.oaudioencoder/lame3.70/quantize-pvt.c: In function =91= quantize_xrpow=92: > audioencoder/lame3.70/quantize-pvt.c:978: error: memory input 5 is not = directly addressable > make[1]: *** [audioencoder/lame3.70/quantize-pvt.o] Error 1 > make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/doctorow/Desktop/openquicktime-1.0-sr= c/audioplugin/MP3' > make: *** [mp3] Error 2 Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
