I was hoping to use it as a Netscape plugin or as a stand alone player if that
won't work.

Playing movies is what QT is all about isn't it?  Yes, I would like to play
movies.  I was hoping that it would also play the sound track on the movies it
plays.

Yes, I understand that from the QT web page on sourceforge where I downloaded
the source, as I stated in my first letter.  My question is:

How do I start this thing up?  How do I make it run?  What is the name of the
executable?  How do I make it do what few tricks it knows how?

Been there, done that.  I need to know how to launch it, not where to get it.

Actually, I was hoping for a little bit of documentation.  I looked on the
sourceforge documentation page for OpenQuicktime but it was blank.  I thought
that there would be instructions there that might help me to put QT to work, but
alas, there was nothing there but white space.
