What do you want to be able to do ?
Play movies ?

I'm afraid that the OpenQuicktime project is in very early stages of 
development - very few codecs have been developed/ported and the 
player is very minimal.

An SDL based player is available in CVS and here:
http://openquicktime.sourceforge.net/download.htm
