why is there no vp3 videoplugin for openquicktime?

get the latest src here:
Set CVSROOT in your environment to:
:pserver:anoncvs@xiph.org:/usr/local/cvsroot

Log into the CVS repository using:

cvs login

When prompted for a password, reply anoncvs.
Then access the theora module using:

cvs -z 1 co vp3
