I already worked on some replacements. They are more like the original Quake1 sounds I guess. I wonder wether I'll be able to redo all the problematic sounds: http://wwwcip.informatik.uni-erlangen.de/~sigohofm/sound.pk3 Oh yeah, in the PK3 the menu sounds have been replaced, but that's in no way final. And there is also good news. This year Qexpo is held once again: http://qexpo.quakedev.com/ Why not register an Open Quartz booth? That'd be a good occasion for a new release. But for a new release, the bug in Darkplaces that makes corpses and some powerups turn completely black (espacially on the start map) needs to be tracked down. Lordhavoc unfortunately has no idea what causes this behavior in versions of Darkplaces newer than the one Open Quartz is shipping :-/ Greetings, Todddd |
