Today I was finished your Open Programmer, flashed 18F2550 with firmware from
the site, assembled it into one device. And when I finally pluged it to PC
green LED started blinking, but windows does not recognize the device. Tried
to reflash te PIC controller, tried to change the quartz, but there is no
success... Where should i search the problem?

Assembled 1:1 as circuit, but 300 kOhm resistors i replaced with 330 kOhm
    (can't find needed value).

P.S. Sorry or my bad English. Russian is my native language.

Strange. Now I have an error in hardware test "regulator voltage is too
low"... Is that a transistor failure?

    Hi, fellow countryman :)
Russian translation patch is available https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=
    detail&aid=3274428&group_id=306554&atid=1291562
    you can try to apply
it and build op software with native language

try to put 1k resistor on VUSB via vdd, 470nf on ground, put 3.6v zener and clear Vregen on programming means disable internal voltage regulator, your problem will solve.

same answer as in the other thread, check LED and component values.

And don't forget to check wires, connections and connectors. Ripped wire was my problem. Programmer works very good for 4 years, without any problems (except old firmware, which I have updated today).
