Hello, all PIC32 devices require a JTAG port for programming, so additional commands have to be implemented in firmware.
Right now I really have no time to do that, but I'll try to get a free sample so that I can do some experiments when I'm ready.

it's a chip on 28 pin SDIP packager, best for hobby.
