When I try to read PIC16F1936 op v0.9 tells me "3.3V Regulator not detected", but this MCU support 1.8 to 5.5V supply according to datasheet http://www.microchip.com/wwwproducts/Devices.aspx?product=PIC16F1936

The requirement is there because the 16LF1936 has a maximum supply voltage of 3.3V.
You can force programming by setting the "don't require LV ..." in the options.
