    Hi everyone!
My OP doesn't want to program dsPIC30F4011. Although I can happily program PIC18F2550.
I checked ICSP out using HWtest. Every output is OK. When I tried to program dsPIC30F4011 and measured at its pin, I got something really strange: when demand VDD = 0, VPP=13V, PGD=PGC=5V the real numbers I read was VDD=2.3V(?), PGD=PGC=3.7V, VPP=12.7V.
It doesn't have that problem with PIC18F2550.
So did anyone try program dsPIC30F4011? I know Mr A. tried dsPIC30F4012 and it worked. What could be my problem?
This dsPIC30F4011 can be programmed using PICkit2, no problem at all, so it's not hardware problem. I checked and am pretty sure my PCB of OP is correct.

You're not supposed to execute the hardware test with a device connected; in the specific case it's probably supplied via input protection diodes, so you find that drop.
Regarding the error, please send me a log.

    Alberto,
I also face similar problem while programming dsPIC30F4013. The programmer unable to detect. On hardware test the result is also OK.

    Thanking you

Are you using the expansion board and the correct socket?
