EtherCAT hat a automatic address assignment feature.
Is this also possible for Powerlink?

Hi,

If you mean dynamic node id assignment, please refer Dynamic Node Allocation for Ethernet Powerlink; but also note that this feature is not implemented in openPOWERLINK stack. A relevant thread is here.
