Serializables in an Any ? Might be related to bug #501332 http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=501332&group_id=43608&atid=436925 This will be resolved with OpenORB 1.4.0 when the RMIoverIIOP infrastructure will be integrated (My next task ;). Until then you need to set up RMIoverIIOP to make this work... Note, this is an assumption because I haven't seen any exception stack trace of your problem yet... Hope this helps, Michael On Fri, 2002-10-25 at 12:15, Erik Putrycz wrote: > The thing is that I have registered the factory using register_value_factory > ! > There is a bug in there as everything is working flawlessly with Orbacus but > I cannot figure out where it is. > I wonder if it is not located in the any helpers... > > Erik. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Stephen McConnell" <mcc...@os...> > To: "Erik Putrycz" <eri...@in...> > Sent: Friday, October 25, 2002 12:08 PM > Subject: Re: [openorb-devel] any helpers > > > > > > You should probably post this to user's list, put I'm not subscribed to > > that for the moment (too many emails at the moment). > > > > Anyway - make sure you have esither (a) XxxxxDefaultFactory.java > > declared, or (b) declare you value factory explicity using the > > register_value_factory operation on the ORB. > > > > Good luck - Steve. > > > > > > Erik Putrycz wrote: > > > > > I am having some problems with OpenORB head.
