It seems you are using the wrong java version. are you using JRE 5.0 or lower version?
please make sure your java version is 5 or 6 b/c the software doesn't support java version lower than 5.
also if you are using MAC OS X ,the Mac java is quit different. i did't tested the plugin thoroughly on mac os x platform. i'll do it later.

for now make sure you have the latest jre available for mac os x.
    hope this helps.

i think my plugin contain java classes compiled with java 6 .so you need to have java version 6. try installing java 6 .or try using linux or windows OS.
as i said mac os x is problematic and you are using an old mac 1.4.

I'm happy with my MacBook and have no intention to put it to linux or - god forbid - Windows.
But my client is working on Windows (or change to linux) and I'll give it a try on one of their computers.
    I'll check for java 6.
I guess I should have upgraded to 1.5/1.6, but my previous employer didn't want to pay for it. Now, I decide and take care of it soon.
Big thanks and if something changes for the better, I'll let you know.
Have a nice day. I'm off to bed.
