What I was suggesting is that looking at USB traces (Andrey's mail) may be a layer too low, when we already know that it's an FTDI based adapter and that we do have a JTAG driver for that interface. That doesn't help with TI's complicated ICE-pick TAP setups, of course, nor with instruction-set support, for which some C code will be needed as well. But even without support for AArch64, I've successfully been able to connect to boards on JTAG level, so I expect the same for C55x.
