The gmane archives used with a newsreader are much easier to scan than the web base archive at http://sourceforge.net/p/openocd/mailman/search/?q=adapter. A search in the newsreader can be confined to the thread title only, while a search in the web based sourceforge archive list every single mail containing the search words, giving more hits that you need to scan by loading active every page. No need for page reload in the newsreader. Please, don't see the archives with the eyes of a long time user, but with the eyes of some advanced programmer stepping into your project, with a need to easily scan what has gone on on the list in the last time.
