Hello! Well, my question is not so simple. I know what is Unicode, but what is Unicode in OpenOBEX, and especially in ObexFTP? I have got a localized (Russian cyrillic) Siemens S55. I can create and use a directory with cyrillic letters (using internal Card Explorer). I can list its parent directory using obexftp: $ /usr/local/obex/bin/obexftp -b 00:CP:AD:RE:SS:00 -B 5 -l /Java (where 00:CP:AD:RE:SS:00 is the bluetooth addres of my cellphone ;) <?xml version="1.0"?> <!DOCTYPE folder-listing SYSTEM "obex-folder-listing.dtd"> <folder-listing version="1.0"> <folder name="jam" modified="20020101T000000" user-perm="RWD" group-perm="W" /> <folder name="Проверка" modified="20040630T221546" user-perm="RWD" group-perm="W" /> </folder-listing> XML prologue does not declare encoding, so it is in UTF-8. Yes, I can decode folder name="Проверка" from UTF-8 to koi8-r (my local encoding). It's ok here. Now I want to manipulate with the filesystem using obexftp. I want to create/remove files and directories using unicode, but I failed so far. $ /usr/local/obex/bin/obexftp -b 00:CP:AD:RE:SS:00 -B 5 -c /Java -l UC $ /usr/local/obex/bin/obexftp -b 00:CP:AD:RE:SS:00 -B 5 -c /Java -C UC What must be UC here? I have tried UTF-8, UTF-16 (both big and little endian) without success. Oleg. -- Oleg Broytmann http://phd.pp.ru/ ph...@ph... Programmers don't die, they just GOSUB without RETURN. |
