When I do an "obexftp -g <file>", the file also gets
deleted on my phone. After power-cycling it's still gone.

I use:
linux-2.4.32
bluez-2.25 (libs and utils)
Sony-Ericsson Z520i
openobex-1.2
obexftp-0.19

Same here with an K300i...
Oh.. And the file never arrives on the Harddisk...

So for me, it just deletes the file...
