And in such case it would be nice to also be able to pack a scan of the original manual, a disk image of the default provided disks etc. In such case there will be more files in there and it would be nice if the dir structure was already prepared for it => having the roms in a seperate directory. Ofcourse Maarten already gave an example of a possible problem, the same NMS machinewith a later release had an other BASIC version... IMHO that whould for all practical purpose be classified as a seperate machine (probably use the model number on the label of the machine. This would give us stuff like NMS8235-0,NMS8235-2 and so on (I'm sure about these numbers for the NMS8235 machines :-) David |
