Fok- If you are looking fo ra Citrix replacement, openMosix is not quite the right Solution for you. The Linux/NX replacement you are looking fo rwould be the Linux Terminal Server Project. To get apps to migrate and blanca the migshm patch which I believe is going in to 2.4.26 will be a big help. You can load balance atleast two servers using dhcp. There are a couple of ther ways to load balance LTSP also. The openmosix file system was never really built for user interaction. It worked as way of allowing remote proccess to access data on teh lauching node with out having to migrate home. You can sue openMosix to load balance your terminal servers but it will not work quite the way you want it to. The most common setup is to node lock the Xserver,to keep X from forgetting where it is, use some form of dhcp or round robin setup to balance user and openMosix to shuffle background deamon and services around the cluster. How many servers do you have? I know 700 users where not on one MS server. I you want to disccuss this setup more contact me off list. I do not thin that just adding openmosix is going to solve your problems, though it can provide part of the solution.
