Our opemmosix cluster, after working quite ok for a period of months with varied user workload, now crashes the one machine with to network cards, the terminal where people log. I must confess, I have had not much time to administer properly the cluster, but it seems that some update was done recently and the machine (only the terminal) behaviour changed. A look at /var/log/messages gives: Aug 23 07:40:02 lgn syslogd 1.4.1#13: restart. Aug 23 07:58:29 lgn -- MARK -- . . . Aug 24 07:38:30 lgn -- MARK -- Aug 24 07:39:16 lgn logger: Cron job - running checkerr as mail Aug 24 07:39:16 lgn syslogd 1.4.1#13: restart. Aug 24 07:58:30 lgn -- MARK -- Aug 24 08:18:30 lgn -- MARK -- . . . Aug 25 07:18:30 lgn -- MARK -- Aug 25 07:35:05 lgn logger: Cron job - running checkerr as mail Aug 25 07:35:05 lgn syslogd 1.4.1#13: restart. Aug 25 07:58:30 lgn -- MARK -- Aug 25 08:18:30 lgn -- MARK -- So from time to time I have to restart the machine because of these freezes Any one have had similar problems? Thanks all |
