I'm using RMI instead of HTTPS, but am seeing the same thing. I'm still trying to narrow down the culprit but I suspect I will have to dive in to OpenJMS code to find it. For me, the client is able to receive message for about 24 hours (about one every ten seconds) and then the onMessage method no longer seems to get called (via RMI). I have heartbeat code running that checks to make it's still receiving messages every five minutes. When it stops working, it tries to close the subscriber, session and connection and reconnect. One of the close methods is causing the app to wait and it never restarts. I've added some debug message and will retest from here...
