Yes something similar. Look at the message I posted on 16 Nov. The 
subject is:

It's not exactly the same, but it is similar I was using HTTP not 
HTTPS. I got URL 500 errors because either it could not send messages 
to the client or it could not ping the client.

I stopped trying to use HTTP and went back to RMI because I do not have 
time to investigate the problem any further. The problem is not present 
with RMI.
