I don't know. It is the Debian package of Openjade. Why would it need
http support? The DTD is local, it is in the same directory.
I don't make any reference to a catalog. Except for the SGML
declaration, the example I sent is complete.
The problem occurs only if the root element is html ; if I name it htmlPL, the
problem disappears.

PS : I believed at first that the problem was related with the use of
entities to customize a DTD, as can be done using DocBook, hence my
message "Openjade and customised DTDs".
