Hi, I'm hoping to port the OpenJade system to MacOS X, on the assumption that because 1.3 doesn't build on MacOS X (or I assume other BSD like boxes), I' ll need to work on the main code base branch. However, coming into the project late, it seems autoinit.sh is no longer used to run the aclocal, autoheader, automake --add-missing, autoconf sequence to create the configure files (the file was deleted in the repository with the message "file autoinit.sh was initially added on branch opensp_1_5_branch."). Per the autoinit.sh script, running that sequence produces: manray ~/SysDev/openjade/sp[65]> aclocal aclocal: configure.in: 39: macro `AM_GNU_GETTEXT' not found in library manray ~/SysDev/openjade/sp[66]> autoheader configure.in:53: warning: AC_TRY_RUN called without default to allow cross compiling manray ~/SysDev/openjade/sp[67]> automake --add-missing automake: configure.in: installing `./install-sh' automake: configure.in: installing `./mkinstalldirs' automake: configure.in: installing `./missing' configure.in: 34: required file `./ltconfig' not found automake: Makefile.am: installing `./INSTALL' automake: Makefile.am: required file `./ChangeLog' not found Makefile.am:38: po/ja.po exists but `ja' not in `ALL_LINGUAS' manray ~/SysDev/openjade/sp[68]> autoconf configure.in:53: warning: AC_TRY_RUN called without default to allow cross compiling configure.in:65: warning: AC_TRY_RUN called without default to allow cross compiling configure.in:66: warning: AC_TRY_RUN called without default to allow cross compiling configure.in:67: warning: AC_TRY_RUN called without default to allow cross compiling configure.in:71: warning: AC_TRY_RUN called without default to allow cross compiling autoconf: Undefined macros: configure.in:41:AC_DEFINE_DIR(SP_LOCALE_DIR, datadir/locale, [location of message catalogs]) configure.in:69:AC_CXX_BOOL configure.in:73:AC_CXX_MUTABLE configure.in:74:AC_CXX_TYPENAME configure.in:75:AC_CXX_NEW_FOR_SCOPING configure.in:76:AC_CXX_PLACEMENT_OPERATOR_DELETE configure.in:77:AC_CXX_DYNAMIC_CAST configure.in:78:AC_CXX_NAMESPACES configure.in:79:AC_CXX_EXPLICIT_INSTANTIATIONS Obviously I'm missing something, but I'm not overly familiar with the machinations of the autoconf tools so I can't spot it. Anyone available for a little bit of hand-holding getting me compiling ok? Thanks -- Leigh Smith tomandandy mailto:le...@to... http://www.tomandandy.com |
