When you say "when [I] fire up the server," do you mean when using 
"oi2_daemon"?  To try to understand this copying-to-tmplib part better, 
I tried altering in the "pkg" dir and starting both oi2_daemon and 
Apache, and I couldn't see how/when the copy was being made.
